The award presentation ceremony of the 2010 ePortfolio Competition co-organised by the Office of Education Development and General Education (EDGE) and English Language Centre to promote and lay the foundation for a university-wide ePortfolio culture, was held on 21 April. Professor David Randall, Director of EDGE, Dr Andy Chun Hon-wai, Chief Information Officer, and Professor Steve Ching Hsiang-hoo, University Librarian, attended the ceremony and presented the awards.

More than 100 entries from students, staff and alumni were received this year, competing in the categories of Learning & Development, Graduate, Employment & Showcase, and Professional & Teaching respectively. Special awards on Best Design, Best Reflection and Best Digital Story were also presented. The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Best of the Best award, which was given to Siu Wai-hang of the School of Creative Media.

Online voting on “My Favourite ePortfolio” was introduced this year inviting all staff and students to participate. The most voted ePortfolio and all winning entries are available at the ePortfolio competition website.
