The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce visits CityU

Six representatives of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) visited City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 24 September to learn more about campus facilities and CityU’s development.

Professor Way Kuo, University President; Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Vice-President (Student Affairs); Professor Julia Tao Lai Po-wah, Chief-of-Staff; Mr Wong Hon-yee, Associate Vice-President (Knowledge Transfer); and Ms Ada Leung Wing-yee, Associate Vice-President (Development), plus other management representatives accompanied the CGCC delegation.

Professor Kuo welcomed the representatives and said he hoped that CGCC will be able to support CityU’s development in the future.

The CGCC party included Dr Jonathan Choi Koon-shum, Chairman; Dr Ian Chan Yau-nam, Vice-Chairman; Mr Yuen Mo, Vice-Chairman; Mr Chong Hok-shan, Vice-Chairman (External Affairs Committee); Mr Ho Chang-pong, Vice-Chairman (External Affairs Committee); and Mr Nelson Ho Chi-kai, Vice-Chairman (Training Committee).

The tour took in the State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves, the University Library, the Centre of Super-Diamond and Advanced Films, the Materials Characterization Facilities and the School of Creative Media.
