Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council visits CityU

Sixteen representatives of the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council (HKYIC) visited City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 27 October to learn more about the University’s scientific research and to exchange views on the development of Hong Kong’s industries.

The tour included the State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves and the laboratories of the Department of Physics and Materials Science and the Department of Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Management.

 

The HKYIC delegation was accompanied on its campus tour by Mr Joseph Lee Chung-tak, CityU Council member and Chairman of the Community Relations Committee; Professor Way Kuo, University President; Professor Roderick Wong Sue-cheun, Vice-President (Development and External Relations); Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Vice-President (Student Affairs); Professor Lu Jian, Dean of the College of Science and Engineering; Ms Ada Leung Wing-yee, Associate Vice President (Development); plus other management representatives.

 

The HKYIC representatives included Dr John Chan Chun-tung, President Honoris Causa; Mr Jack Tsui Ming-cheong, President; vice presidents and Executive Committee members.
