Seminar promotes State Science and Technology Awards

 

Faculty members and research staff from City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and local sister institutions gathered at CityU on 1 June for a seminar on promoting the State Science and Technology Awards (SSTA).
Mr Zou Dating, Director of the National Office for SSTA, gave a detailed presentation on the categories and application criteria for the awards. Scholars in Hong Kong are eligible to apply for the State Technological Invention Award, the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award and the State Natural Science Award.
Professor Xue Quan, Associate Vice-President (Innovation Advancement and China Office) of CityU, extended a warm welcome to over 100 participants, while Professor Luk Kwai-man, Director of CityU’s State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves, shared the experience of successful applications.
