CityU forges closer links with SUSTC

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed between City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and South University of Science and Technology of China (SUSTC) will help forge closer ties between the two universities.

The MOU, signed on 18 June, details a framework for collaborations between CityU and SUSTC in terms of PhD student supervision, research projects, exchange of researchers and sharing of research results.

The MOU was signed by Professor Way Kuo, President of CityU, and Professor Zhu Qingshi, President of SUSTC, during a delegation visit at CityU. Members of the SUSTC delegation included Professor David Tong Shuk-yin, Chairman of the Committee of Academic Affairs, Dr Dong Chaojun, Secretary in General, and Professor Zhu Baoting, Leading Professor.

Professor Lu Jian, Vice-President (Research & Technology) and Dean of Graduate Studies of CityU, members of the CityU’s senior management team, and College representatives attended the signing ceremony.
