Celebration Ceremony of 10 years’ Co-operation between CityU and the CSD.
How to combat crime and promote rehabilitation services for law offenders was the topic discussed at the annual NGO forum on correctional services, jointly organised by City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and the Correctional Services Department (CSD) of the Hong Kong SAR Government on 22 December.

CityU academics, CSD officials and NGO representatives were guest speakers in the forum, and certificates of appreciation were presented to outstanding NGO volunteers.

This was the 10th consecutive year for CityU’s Department of Applied Social Sciences and the CSD to jointly host the event. The theme of this year’s forum was “Join Hands to Reduce Crime”.

Professor Alex Jen Kwan-yue, CityU Provost, Mr Yau Chi-chiu, Commissioner of Correctional Services, and Dr Ho Wai-kuen, Chairman of the Merchants Support for Rehabilitated Offenders Committee, were the officiating guests.
