Mr Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, Secretary for Education of the Hong Kong SAR Government, was briefed on the latest developments of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) during a visit on 15 January.

Mr Yeung was welcomed by the University's senior management team led by Mr Lester Garson Huang, Council Chairman, and Professor Way Kuo, President. They exchanged ideas after the team had introduced CityU’s recent achievements in research and innovation.

Other members of the senior management team present at the meeting included Professor Alex Jen Kwan-yue, Provost; Professor Lu Jian, Vice-President (Research and Technology); Professor Horace Ip Ho-shing, Vice-President (Student Affairs); Professor Matthew Lee Kwok-on, Vice-President (Development and External Relations); Mr Sunny Lee Wai-kwong, Vice-President (Administration); Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Chief-of-Staff; and Dr Eva Lui So Yuk-yuen, Special Assistant and Manager (Boards and Committees).

After the meeting, Mr Yeung learned more about CityU’s latest developments in teaching and related research projects in the fields of energy and veterinary medicine while touring the CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre and the CityU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, respectively.
