Staff party welcomes the Year of the Dog

Over 1,000 faculty and other staff members of City University of Hong Kong gathered on 22 February to welcome the Year of the Dog at a celebration party organised by the Human Resources Office.

Professor Way Kuo, University President, kicked off the celebration with a welcome note and was joined by vice-presidents, deans and heads of units to extend their best wishes to everyone.

In addition to a savoury lunch buffet, the participants enjoyed a series of programmes.

The activities included a traditional Chinese lion dance, an entertaining children’s Cantonese opera, a breathtaking acrobatics show, a fantastic live band performance by Mr Sunny Lee Wai-kwong, Vice-President (Administration), and Professor Richard Allen, Dean of the School of Creative Media, and the much anticipated lucky draw.
