About 300 staff members were celebrated and honoured for their dedicated service to City University of Hong Kong (CityU) at the Long Service Award Ceremony on 30 October.

In his opening address, Professor Way Kuo, President of CityU, thanked the faculty and staff members for their long and valued contribution to the University. This year also marks Professor Kuo’s tenth year of service to CityU.

At the ceremony, Chair Professor Zhang Longxi, of the Department of Chinese and History, and Mr Peter Wu Ka-shun, Senior PE Officer of Student Development Services, who have worked at CityU for 20 and 25 years, respectively, shared their experience and reflections on working at the University.

President Kuo and senior management presented awards to staff members who have served the University for 30 years and those who have served for 25 years. The ceremony was organised by the Human Resources Office.

Professor Kuo thanks staff members for their long and valued contribution to the University.
This year marks Professor Kuo’s tenth year of service to CityU.
