Year of the Dragon staff party

Over 1,000 colleagues celebrated the Year of the Dragon at the Chinese New Year Staff Party organised by the Human Resources Office at City University of Hong Kong on 31 January.

After a delicious buffet lunch and a browse around the traditional Chinese craft stalls at the U-circle, staff members gathered at the Chan Tai Ho Multi-purpose Hall for a variety of programmes, kicking off with a traditional lion dance followed by a magic show and live music.

A lucky draw brought the party to a climax as the Chinese Gods of Wealth distributed chocolate gold coins and candy for good luck and fortune.

Professor Way Kuo, President, wished everyone good health, good luck and a prosperous life in his welcoming remarks.
