CityU, Fudan DBA promises innovative teaching, learning

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme jointly offered by City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and the School of Management at Fudan University welcomed in its third batch of students at a ceremony cum workshop on 27 September at CityU.
The DBA nurtures an innovative management mindset among high-calibre senior executives through the rigorous application of research to practical problems, boosting the students’ ability to lead their corporations in a highly competitive global market.
The students are top executives with an average of twenty years of experience in management and professional work in a diverse range of sectors. Seventy-six senior executives have enrolled in this programme since it was first started.
Guests attending the ceremony included Professor Lu Xiongwen, Dean of Fudan University’s School of Management, Professor Lv Changjiang, Associate Dean and DBA programme leader at Fudan University’s School of Management, plus representatives from CityU: Professor Way Kuo, University President, Professor Arthur Ellis, Provost, Professor Roderick Wong Sue-cheun, Vice-President (Development and External Relations), Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Vice-President (Student Affairs), Professor Julia Tao Lai Po-wah, Chief-of-Staff, and Professor Wei Kwok-kee, Dean of the College of Business.
