First Career Fair at CityU

City University of Hong Kong (CityU) students have an excellent opportunity to explore their future career options and pathway at the University’s first career fair on 10–11 April.
 
The CityU Career Fair 2013 organised by the Career and Internship Office (CAIO) at the three multi-purpose rooms of the Amenities Building serves as a platform for students to gain market information and job opportunities from industry professionals and company representatives. Students will have the chance to meet over 40 employers from the public and private sectors.
 
Information booths have been set up for reputable organisations, including BEECRAZY, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Mobile Hong Kong Co Ltd, DHL Global Forwarding (Hong Kong) Ltd, Henderson Land Group Property Management Department, the Hong Kong Police Force, and the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd. Students can print their curricula vitae and apply for the jobs on-site.
 
Professor Arthur Ellis, Provost, Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Vice-President (Student Affairs), Ms Cecilia Kwok Sau-fong, Director of CAIO, and Ms Jenny Chan Pik-ha, Deputy Chairman of the CityU Eminence Society and Sales Director of KGI Asia Ltd, officiated at the opening ceremony on 10 April. Mr Simon Hui Hing-tak, Chairman of the CityU Eminence Society, and Ms Diane Chan Lai-chu, Executive Director of CTgoodjobs, also attended the ceremony. 
 
Industry practitioners provided industry highlights, market information, entrance requirement and career prospects during the information sections for the students.
