A certificate presentation ceremony held on 24 April showed the University’s appreciation to student leaders who supported junior students’ learning through the Peer Assisted Learning using Supplemental Instruction (PALSI) scheme.

Organised by the Office of Education Development and Gateway Education, the scheme aims at enhancing junior students’ understanding of course materials and improving students’ learning and reasoning skills. PALSI Leaders, senior year students who performed well in selected courses, are nominated by teachers to lead and facilitate weekly out-of-class review sessions for a group of junior students.
