The Hong Kong Real Property Federation (HKRPF) delegation visits CityU

 

HKRPF visit

A delegation of 25 members from The Hong Kong Real Property Federation (HKRPF) led by Mr Anthony Chan, President of HKRPF and Mr Chan Ka-kui, Honorary Advisor, visited CityU on 4 May 2016. The delegation received an update on the latest development of the University and visited the "Pure Land – Inside the Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang" exhibition, toured the Omnimedia Digital Newsroom and 3D-TV Virtual Studio in the Department of Media and Communications, State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves, Wong Cheung Lo Hui Yuet Hall as well as the "Giuseppe Castiglione – Lang Shining New Media Art Exhibition".

The delegation was warmly received by Professor Way Kuo, President, Professor Matthew Lee Kwok-on, Vice-President (Development and External Relations), Ms Kathy Chan Yin-ling, Associate Vice-President (Development and Alumni Relations), and Professor Liew Kim-meow, Head of the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering of the University.

Professor Kuo thanked Mr Chan Ka-kui, Honorary Fellow and current Court member and Mr Wong Chun-hong, Honorary Patron of City University of Hong Kong Foundation (CityU Foundation), for introducing CityU to the Federation during the luncheon. Professor Kuo also indicated that CityU has made rapid advancement in a short span of time. According to the 2015 World University Rankings published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), CityU has been ranked 57th in the world. The University will continue to strengthen ties and explore collaboration opportunities with the industrial and commercial sectors.
