President visits student families

Professor Way Kuo, President of City University of Hong Kong (CityU), visited the families of two students on 30 September to learn more about their studies and needs during one of these regular visits.

Accompanied by Dr Ron Kwok Chi-wai, Dean of Students, Professor Kuo dropped by the homes of the families of Joyce Lee Wai-yuet, a Year 3 student in the Department of Asian and International Studies, and Kiki Hung Mei-ki, a Year 1 student in the Department of Linguistics and Translation.

Joyce shared with Professor Kuo her overseas exchange experience in Australia and her learning experience as an intern in the MTR. She said she would like to have more overseas exchange opportunities, while Joyce’s mother reported that she was delighted to see her daughter growing more mature.

Kiki shared with Professor Kuo that she would like to join some student clubs to broaden her horizons and gain more learning experiences by joining internship programmes during her studies at CityU.
