Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony for Elite Athletes Study Programme

 

The Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) and City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to offer flexible admission and learning arrangements for Hong Kong elite athletes, enabling them to receive full-time training while continuing to pursue their studies at university level.

The collaboration will be marked by a MOU Signing Ceremony to be held on 9 November 2018. Mr Yeung Tak-keung JP, Commissioner for Sports; Professor Way Kuo, President and University Distinguished Professor of CityU; and Dr Lam Tai-fai SBS JP, Chairman of the HKSI will officiate at the ceremony.

Four elite athletes who are also graduates or current students of the CityU including Yeung Ming-nok (badminton), Ho Tze-lok (squash), Yip Tsz-fung (squash) and Chan Tsz-ching (swimming) will share their experience or be the master of the ceremony.

You and your representatives are cordially invited to cover the ceremony. Event details are as follows:

Venue:      Eminence Galaxy Alumni Function Room, 11/F, Lau Ming Wai Academic Building, City University of Hong Kong, Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong
